Hmmm, it seems that dA people comment less and less these days. *ponders* Not that I'm any example, but I've been trying recently to browse through the 'newest' section of photography and actually write down what the images inspire in me instead of just clicking fav. Not that there's anything terribly wrong with that, but I noticed that even the amazing images that get DDs or on the front page hardly have long, meaningful comments. It's either a sad discrepancy between comments and favs, or "awesome" and the such dominate the comments pages. It's rather sad, in my opinion. It might just be me, it truly might, but it feels like dA is becoming less an honest sharing site and more an exposition site: less creative communication and more presentation. Also not bad, but I seem to remember that when I joined, comments were the big thing and were more consistent than now. I repeat, it might just be my impression, or it might just be happening in my tiny corner of dA, but there you go, my two cents. *shrug*

Care to discuss this, if it needs discussing?
